Gordon Beath – Architecture Director

Gordon has developed particular skills in the strategic planning, design and project management of major projects. His strengths lie in initiating design concepts and developing project teams, assessing and negotiating relevant authority approvals, programming activities & co-ordination of design disciplines.

Gordon holds a Masters degree in Tropical Architecture promoting a contribution and refinement of knowledge of international interest in architectural solutions within this climate region.

In 2009 Gordon was appointed as an inaugural member of the Queensland Government’s Board for Urban Places. The board consists of the Qld Government Architect as Chair and 23 highly acclaimed members of Australia’s architecture & related design community.


Julia Fulford-Kirby – Art / Interiors

Julia’s background includes painting and studying ceramics in both her educational and professional careers. Julia has had many exhibitions and works through galleries and shops in Australia.  Her many famous works include Athletes in Action , Humanity on the Cross, and Celebrities on the Cross

In 2004, Julia joined with Architect Gordon Beath to open studioEDGE in Cairns, Queensland. Together, the studio focuses on how Art, Design, and Architecture can come together to work in harmony. More info on Julia’s art background can be found here.
